What Is Slow Running?

Slow running is all about rediscovering the joy of running through low-intensity, gentle sessions that focus on technique, breathing, and mindful presence.

It’s the perfect way to build endurance and strength—without chasing speed. Instead, it lets you truly enjoy the magic of the mountains.

About Your Coach – Elmina Saksi

Elmina Saksi is a passionate runner, 45-year-old mother of three, and coach with experience from 37 marathons (including 7 wins) and several mountain races.

She knows that the best part of mountain running isn’t about speed – it’s about soaking in the scenery, breathing deep, and feeling every step.

Let Elmina inspire you to discover a new kind of joy in your running, through the slow running approach.

Also joining the camp is cross-country skier Stina Nilsson, who’ll be sharing her own training tips and experience with off-season running.
