Cross-Country Skiing on the mountain and in the valley

Ramundberget, Bruksvallarna and the Funäsfjällen area are home to one of the largest interconnected cross-country trail systems in the world. Find your adventure across mountains, forests and valleys!

Ramundberget is part of Funäsfjällen's skisystem, which is one of the world's largest interconnected trail systems with over 300 kilometers of prepared tracks for both classic cross-country and skate skiing.

Already in October, it is possible to go out on the valley trails between Ramundberget and Bruksvallarna. During winter, further excellent trails are drawn across the mountains and through valleys, both hilly and flat, in birch and spruce forests. The area is well-known among competitive skiers, who come from far away to practice on our trails.

For the darker months, Ramundberget offers an illuminated trail of 2,5 km. For the kids, there is a short cross-country trail next to our kids' area Lillramis.

Cross-Country Trail Pass ("Spårknapp")

The pass for cross-country trails, which is needed to use all the tracks within Funäsfjällen, also offers the free use of a ski bus between the villages. This way, you can easily ski from one village to another, and get back by bus.

The pass can be purchased at Fjällgården reception or at Gästervice in Ramundberget Village. If you have Swish, you can also pay by scanning one of the QR codes on the signs along the trails.

A Ride Above the Trees

Taking the lift with your cross-country skis is an excellent way to quickly get up onto the bare mountain, where many exciting trails begin. For this, you need a lift ticket in addition to your Spårknapp. Single or return tickets can be bought from Gästservice. When using the lfit, you can wear your skis like normal. The lift assistant will see that you're in cross-country gear and adjust the speed accordingly.
