Hiking Trails for all tastes

Renstigen, translating as "Reindeer Path," is a fun and easy 45-min mountain trail. Winding through beautiful meadows, it offers grand views of Ramundberget and a tranquil picnic spot with a tipi.

Mickelina has her own easy, downhill trail full of intrigue and adventure straight out of a child's imagination. The beautiful mountain views and cozy rest stops make this a perfect one-hour family hike.

When chairlift Fjällgårdsbanan runs in summer, hiking to Ösjödalen is an easy way to get some mountain air. A beautiful hike of about two hours.

A varied three-hour hike in Ramundberget, the popular Klinken route winds into the green valley and follows the clear waters of Ljusnan River.

Take the chairlift Fjällgårdsbanan or walk up the ski slopes to Ramundberget's peak, where you can enjoy views of beautiful mountains in all directions: Skarsfjället, Sylarna, Helags, Mittåkläppen and Axhögen.

An ancient pilgrim trail that takes you all the way up the mountain to views of Helags and Skarsfjället. Smell wood anemones and orchids, and enjoy the ripple of waterfalls along the way. A great combination of nature, exercise and history.

Above Ramundberget are mining holes, quarries and old mining cottages; memories of the area's bygone era of iron ore mining.

Hike through flowering meadows and past rushing waterfalls to enjoy a dip out of the ordinary in Tväråpoolen: "Nature's Jacuzzi." You can make it there and back in around six hours.

There are lots of trails around Mittåkläppen, and this eight-hour option leads to the summit. Starting in Ramundberget, the tour goes by the historical mines onto Djupdalsvallen and connecting paths.

Ready for a challenge? At 1,797 meters, Helagsfjället is Sweden's tallest mountain south of the Arctic Circle. Enjoy grand views, wildflowers, Sweden's southernmost glacier and bright fall colors. Camp out, or stay overnight in a cabin.
