In the area of Fjällgårdstorget, the heart of Ramundberget, we have loaded the surroundings with different play and games areas for the kids outdoors:

Pumptrack
Outside hotell Fjällgården there is a pumptrack. Get around the track by "pumping yourself " and technically controlling speed and balance using the speed of curves and hills. A fun challenge for legs and balance, for both small and big cyclists. It´s open round the clock and free to use.

Swim och wade
The river Ljusnan meanders in Ramundberget's mountain valley. Take a cool dip, or wade over.
Want to swim in waterfalls? There are several to choose from depending on how far you want to hike to get there, Kvarnbäckfallet is close to Ramundberget.
Källar’n play area
Downstairs hotell Fjällgården the world of the mountain in miniature is built. Here you can visit the mascot Mickelina´s burrow, drive the lift, be in charge of Lanthandeln, the grocery store, or climb the snow groomer machine. There are also severeal games to play, like table tennis.
Tour to the summer farm Bockhammarvallen
Try one of Mickelina’s lovely favourite hiking trails! It goes from the top of Fjällgårdsbanan lift to the remains of an old mountain farmhouse and pasture right next to a small tarn. A beautiful tour which is well signposted, just long enough to suit even small mountaineers - and with Härjedalen's history always present.
Mickelina´s hiking trail
The mascot´s pride and joy! Take Fjällgårdsbanan to the top and then walk the two kilometres down to the valley. You will meet animals, nature and history during a fine hike past the waterfalls, Mickelina’s house and an exciting cable car.
Canoing on Ljusnan
Explore the nature of the true swedish mountain area on the river Ljusnan. Rent a canoe at Topsport in Funäsdalen (one canoe that fit two children and two adults) and enjoy a trip on calm, flowing water.
Climb via ferrata
Climb the via ferrata on Funäsdalsberget in Funäsdalen, an obvious choice of activity for families. Steep, high and exciting. With a harness and helmet you climb your self the steapest part of the mountain up to the cabin at the top. The adventure takes a couple of hours. Rent the equipment at Topsport Funäsdalen and get intructions from the staff.
