Paddle the long or short Ljusnan trip on your own, both from Flon in Bruksvallarna. Two beautiful paddles that suit the whole family, with great swimming options at sandy beaches and several wind-shielded picnic spots along the way.
The Short Ljusnan Trip
Starts at Flon in Bruksvallarna and ends at the shelter after about 45 minutes of paddling time. The tour as a whole takes between two and three hours.
The Long Ljusnan Trip
Starts at Flon in Bruksvallarna and ends at Bruksgården near Kåvan in Funäsdalen, after about two hours paddling time. The whole excursion takes between three and five hours.

Canoe Trip on Ljusnan with Own Transport - Self Service
The option for those with their own transport to and from the river. At the agreed time, you will meet the Topsport staff by the starting point in Flon to receive your equipment and a safety briefing ahead of the tour. Make sure you arrive in time to find parking!
Price: 750 SEK / canoe, with room for two adults and two children.
When: Daily. Choose "Book" to see free slots.
How: You arrange your own transport and meet our Topsport staff at the starting point in Flon. Once there, you will let them know if you're going on the long or the short trip. Important! Remember to write down the weight of each participant in the Notes field when booking so Topsport can get you the right size life jacket. Download map.
Canoe Trip on Ljusnan - with Transport
The option for those who want transportation to the starting point.
When: Daily. Choose "Book" to see free slots.
How: At the meeting time, you choose whether you want to paddle the long or short Ljusnan trip. Pick up paddles, life jackets and a map. Then you drive after the Topsport bus, leave your car at the end of the paddle, and get a lift from us to the starting point. Download map.
BOOK
Our canoes are "Canadians" with three seats, where the middle seat is big enough for two small children. Bookings must be made no later than 4pm the day before. The activity is possible between June 10th and September 20th, 2022.
